Summary

This research explores how trauma-informed teacher training can prepare future educators for the complexities of the field. Through creation, facilitation, and analysis of a three-part workshop series, the project examines pre-service teachers' experiences of the workshop series and how it influences their developing professional identities. The findings offer a practical, humanizing framework for initial teacher education programs seeking to strengthen future teachers' preparedness, support educator well-being, and encourage long-term professional retention
