This research uses airborne laser scanning and predictive modelling to identify subtle Indigenous archaeological sites hidden beneath British Columbia's forests. Working in partnership with the Gitxsan Wilp Gwininitxw, it combines remote sensing, environmental data, and Indigenous knowledge to support cultural heritage protection, land stewardship, and informed decision-making on unceded territories.

This research examines how Greco-Roman Egyptians engaged with the pharaonic past through funerary landscapes at Deir el-Medina. Using spatial analysis, it reveals increasing reuse of tombs for burial and habitation over time. These interactions embedded the past into daily life, showing how cultural heritage is actively negotiated within lived environments.
