Exploring the Impact of Followership on Leadership Effectiveness: Qualitative Study - Osas Ofumwengbe

This qualitative study interviewed 41 participants to examine how followers influence leadership effectiveness. Findings show follower behaviors shape leader outcomes, team dynamics, and organizational performance. Effective followers demonstrate autonomy and innovation and can become leaders themselves, suggesting organizations should recognize followers as active contributors rather than passive participants.
